Daniel is an enthusiastic Italian who brings the richness of his life challenges, extensive work history, family experience and the heritage of natural medicine in Europe – all the way to Shepparton.
After completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Marine Biochemistry he worked as a researcher at the University of Bologna, Italy – the oldest University in the world - in areas such as biochemistry, microbiology, chromatography and virology. He even spent some time researching the great herb Ginkgo biloba and its active constituents. Due to his extensive experience in hygiene he spent years travelling all over Europe managing a large team of staff in multinational companies.
After the arrival of his two daughters, Daniel felt there were limited answers for their health challenges, and for the challenges of many colleagues and friends who were relying solely on conventional medicine. He decided to use his skills to start practicing Nutrition in 2000 and then joined the school of Naturopathy in Padua, where he perfected a strong passion for natural health approaches over three years. Due to the limited and restricted practice of naturopathy, homeopathy and herbal medicine in Italy and Europe, Daniel subsequently made the life changing decision to move his family to the beloved home country of his wife – Australia.
Since 2006 the Ferrari family have lived in Melbourne and Daniel has gained also a Bachelor of Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine) at the Endeavour College of Natural Health. He now travels to Shepparton weekly to join us two days a week and once a month on Saturdays.
Daniel is fluent in Italian, Spanish, French and of course English. He is a Bowen practitioner and enjoys combining this physical technique with his naturopathic consultations where needed. You will see Daniel frequently assisting Greg, treating patients with Microcurrent and facilitating the Superfoods cooking classes when he isn't busy with his Naturopathic clients. Daniel has a particular talent for understanding people, and uses this to inspire positive change in the clients he meets.
